Progress in 2015

We have started 2015 with lots of work to keep us and our guys busy.  We are in Picton building our second set of Semi-Detached units in the Welbanks Subdivision.  We have one of these units pre-sold and we are going to use the other side as our Model  unit....although there have been lots of interested buyers, so it may end up sold before the spring!

(You'll have to excuse me, it was -24 this morning ...so I didn't get out of the car!)

We are also in the final stages of a custom house located on Lake Concecon.  The fireplace and flooring are being completed.  The kitchen cabinetry and built-in's beside the fireplace will be installed next week and this house will start to look like a real home.

(The guys were camera shy.... hustling out of this shot leaving their tools behind them!)

On the other side of the County in Waupoos we have a custom house all framed in and the insulation is well underway.  Our materials are ordered and finishing should start in the next few weeks. (I'll get pictures of that one soon...it was too cold this morning!)

Speaking of Tiles....

So.....we were recently on a supplier website and saw our own work!  We are going to choose to be flattered about it!
Check it out HERE....you'll recognise it from our Gallery Page (hint: look under Cressy)

Tile Work!

Check out the fun tiles and tile work we've been doing lately!

Above and Below are being installed in a home as you read this (well as long as your reading it Thursday, January 8th 2015....)

These two little beauties are from a recently completed home....full photos coming soon to our Gallery page

Happy New Year!

Well,  2015 announced itself to Prince Edward County today by bringing us upwards of a foot of snow.  Luckily, all our job sites are closed-in so our guys were pretty happy to be working inside today!

(Don't worry I wasn't driving and taking pictures at the same time!! I was stopped for an accident...)

Welbank Meadows - Kitchen Options

We are working with the future owners of one of our Villa's to finalize their kitchen layout and design.

We pride ourselves in offering clients a building experience with options, because we know homeowners don't want to walk into their neighbours house and see the same finishes as their own! We also don't like building the same house over and over again....its boring for us too!

So even though these Villa's are a "production" build we want our clients to have a home that is uniquely theirs.

For these clients, they started with the same footprint as our model unit but we reconfigured the interior space to reflect a design that they were comfortable with.  The only thing they couldn't picture from the plans was how the kitchen was going to work for them....luckily we have an interior designer here (that's me!) who could put their mind at easy by showing them all their options!  Here were their options:

You'll have to wait for the final pictures to find out which layout they chose!
Which one would you choose?

Lake Concecon - Fireplace Concept

We've been pretty lucky to work with clients who appreciate the advise and expertise that we bring to the table.  We always have lots of opinions about what "WE" would do with a space and sometimes people are on the same wavelength as us, and sometimes they pictured something totally different!  It's fun for us when clients decide to go forward with the designs and ideas that we offer, as is the case with this great fireplace concept.

Soon this wall ..... (excuse the mess... I took this picture in the middle of the insulation stage!)

Will look a little something like this!

Welbank Meadows - Foundation Complete!

We got our Villa foundation backfilled just in time for the first dusting of snow....right on schedule for our spring closing dates.  As you can see we use steel beams, which give us nice squeak-free floor on our main level and the added bonus of fewer bulkheads and metal posts in our basements!
